In May 1962, Lawrence Schiller got the opportunity to photograph Marilyn Monroe on the set of Something’s Got to Give. Unannounced and unplanned, Marilyn emerged from the swimming pool naked and Lawrence Schiller was there to catch it all on camera. The images he captured of her flirting with the camera are breathtaking. 50 years later, these rare photographs are still being celebrated for their beauty. This month, the story graces the cover of Vanity Fair, Mr. Schiller recounted his experience on the CBS Morning Show and Marilyn Monroe seems to be everywhere. We are beyond lucky to have partnered with Duncan Miller Gallery in order to display this rare photographic exhibition of Marilyn Monroe at hip’tique.
